Past Work

Quill
Quill was a startup building an alternative to Slack, with a different approach to threads and following up on work. I joined in March 2020 as an engineer on the iOS and Mac teams, and stayed until Twitter acquired the company in December 2021.

RealTalk
An iOS app for making new friends through conversation starters and pixelated video messages.

Camino Browser
Camino was an open-source browser for Mac OS X, with Mozilla's Gecko web engine inside a native Cocoa interface. In 2007, I joined through Google Summer of Code to design and build Tabsposé, a visual way to find and switch between open tabs.

Normal VR
Normal VR made tools and games for shared virtual worlds. I worked on the multiplayer systems behind Normcore, its Unity networking plugin, and helped bring Half + Half, its first game, to release.

Rdio
I worked on Rdio's iPhone and iPad rewrite and maintained its Mac and Roku apps.

Corripio
My first Mac app, and the product I built while learning to program. Started in high school, Corripio filled in the missing artwork, song information, and lyrics in an iTunes library.

Edwin48
Porting the Scheme editor used in MIT's SICP course. In the summer of 2008, I joined the work to bring Edwin to Scheme48 and Scsh.

iPhoto
Was an intern working on the last version of iPhoto before it was replaced by Photos.

Hijack Your Feed
I made Hijack Your Feed with Jason Yuan and Omar Rizwan in late 2020. We built a Safari extension that replaced Twitter ads with tasks from Apple's Reminders app.
